FAIL: Nikon gets confused, announces a camera that was announced in August 2008

Share/Save/Bookmark
We rarely see "FAIL" of this magnitude: Nikon has just "announced" the Coolpix S60 - see the press release here (press release removed - but they can't remove the Google cache copy). So what's the problem with that?

Well, the Nikon Coolpix S60 had been announced in August 2008. See it also at DC Resource and of course at Nikon's own website.

The camera has been on the market for a few months now - you can get it at Amazon and elsewhere for around $260.
