Review Train (Panasonic G1, Tamron 18-270 VC, Kodak Z1015is, etc)
Welcome to another edition of the Review Train! If you missed any previous episodes, be sure to check them out at the Reviews mini-blog.
Olympus E30: First Looks
We have a first-look at the camera by Digital Camera Review, with the review in their pipeline.
And some sample images provided by Four Thirds User and the hard-working Ian Burley.
Panasonic G1: Two new reviews
Two reviews have hit the web today, one by Let's Go Digital and another by Digital Trends. No spoilers here as usual, but the Let's Go conclusions are on page #9 if you are in a hurry.
SuperZoom Reviews of all kinds
We start with a review of the Tamron 18-270mm Di-II VC LC lens at Photo Review Australia, which was recently reviewed by dpreview as well. Lots of technical details to satisfy the hungry pixel-peepers. And to summarize things, be sure to check the "Buy/Don't-Buy" segment of the review.
Next we have a review of the AA-based Canon SX110is funzoom, by Digital Camera Info. For the speed-readers, conclusions are on the Conclusions tab.
And we return to Photo Review for a review of the Kodak Z1015 IS. This is a camera that "secretly" features RAW as Kodak forgot to tell people about it when they announced the camera. Margaret Brown talks about the RAW feature of the camera so be sure to check it out! With most 1/2.3"-based superzooms not offering RAW, should you be taking a look at the Z1015-IS? Read the review to find out :-)
And we stay in Australia for a review of the Olympus SP-565uz by the local CNet chapter.
