Vote for the Reader's Choice Digital Cameras of 2008 (two days left)
There are two days left to vote (in the month-long) "Reader's Choice" digital cameras polls! You, the readers decide by voting. The vote will close at the end of day on November 30, 2008. If you are reading this in a newsreader that does not support Javascript, be sure to visit the blog page in order to vote. See the bottom of the post for more details.
Two of the three DSLR categories are too close to call, the "35mm full frame DSLRs" and "enthusiastic (mid-range) DSLRs". Another vote that is too-close-to-call is the "Worthy Compacts" category. Your vote could be the one that decides it!

More details
To keep the number of categories relatively short, we grouped dSLRs in just three sub-categories. That doesn't mean the cameras in each category are equal to each other, we simply didn't want to create ten different categories since that would be counter-productive. Because of the way the current market is, we are also including the M8.2 and Panasonic G1 even though they are not dSLRs. And we have something fun, quite possibly the first award given to a ..."paper camera", which, just like all the cameras, you vote and you decide! :-)
The camera names are presented in random order, which removes any potential bias of a fixed listing order. In other words, if you visit the page again, the cameras in each sub-category will be presented in a different order.
Lobbying: If you are a strong fan of a particular camera, please feel free to make the case why your favorite camera should receive more votes. You can write this in the comments section, or if you like write it on your website, blog or favorite forum, then send us an email, and we'll add a link to it.
