Review Train (Panasonic G1, Nikon D90, Alpha A900, Nikon D60, etc)
We start the review train by an experiential review by actual photographers, the Nikon D90 is mini-reviewed at TWiP Photo. And we continue with a gearaholic review of the same camera at Trusted Reviews. Conclusions are on page #4.
Another experiential review, a "field report" by the Luminous Landscape of the first ever Micro 4/3rds camera, the Panasonic G1. The G1 is assembling quite a portfolio of reviews so far.
This is quite possibly the shortest review on the Alpha A900, posted by ...dpexpert. When you are an expert, you don't need to write 40-page reviews! :)
Meanwhile the Nikon D60, which was the subject of many Black Friday deals, got another review at Megapixel.net. No spoilers, their patented conclusions can be found in the "Our opinion" segment. By the way, the next review in their pipeline is the Olympus E520.
First Impressions
An early review of the Pentax K-m K2000 at Rice High. The K2000 is the subject of a mega-bundle for $600 at Amazon.com.
Lens Reviews
We have to experiential lens reviews by veteran photographers to talk about, first, the Online Photographer has reviewed the Nikon 24-120mm and next David Ziser of Digital Pro Talk has reviewed the Canon 100mm f2.8 lens.
Review Reference Guide
You can find the above, along many of the existing reviews nicely organized at the DSLR Review Organizer (shortcut url: noisyreviews.com). For cameras with fixed lenses, you can find reviews at the new Compact Reviews Organizer. And please stay tuned for our 2009 "Lens Cap Review Organizer" :-)
To make the most of the review organizers, note the two light-blue background links at the top of the main column. These will take you to the review index of either DSLRs or Compact Cameras from any review page. But beware, this is addictive, you could spend hours going through reviews :-)
