Holiday specials from B&H Photo
B&H Photo has posted their first weekly holiday specials, which include the Nikon D60, Sony W120, Fuji F100fd, and more.

Hot NewEgg Black Friday pre-sale
This is live right now, check the Black Friday Pre-Sale at NewEgg.com, including the Canon G10 for $435 (with free 8gb card and case), A590-IS for $105, and the Fuji Z100fd for $115. Most of the aforementioned camera specials are on page #4. The prices are good until November 26.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 full version for $580
Amazon is offering Adobe Photoshop CS4, the full edition for $590 $580, which is $120 less than the list price! The upgrade version (for those who qualify for the upgrade) is around $200.

And if at the same time you buy Lightroom 2, the full version or the upgrade, you can save an extra 30% off the price of LR2. Simply add both CS4 and LR2 to your shopping cart and click "proceed to checkout" to see the extra 30% off on LR2. The LR2 full version lists for $300, so you would be saving $90 by buying them together, even though the current Amazon price for LR2 (full) is actually $273.

Early Black Friday Deals Online
Abe's of Maine throws down the gauntlet with some great specials, including the A300 kit for $530, the A200 kit for $460, and the Lumix G1 kit for $740. For all the details, be sure to check the detailed Abe's of Maine round-up.

Fry's One Day Sale (Friday)

  • red Samsung L100 for $67 (beats Amazon)
  • Canon SD1100is for $139 (beats Amazon)

Longs Drugs
The Olympus FE-360 (8mp, 3x, LiIon, xD, 2.5" LCD) is on sale for $100 even. Also the slow Duracell AA-charger with two pre-charged batteries are $5 after a $4 mail-in rebate. And a 2gb Sandisk SD card for $10. And the GE A730 (7mp, 3x, 2.5" LCD, face detection) for $60 after a $10 mail-in rebate.

Black Friday Guide (PDF file by Retrevo)
Web 2.0 shopping megasite Retrevo.com has created a general-purpose Black Friday guide available in PDF format. They do require an email address in order to receive the PDF guide, but it's free.

Circuit City
The deals at Circuit City are out, but not all camera models are given yet. Of the ones that are identified, the Nikon D60 2-lens kit is at $750, which you can get at this price or slightly better at Amazon right now.

The $100 price range features the Samsung S860 for $80 and one of the Olympus FE-models for $100.

Of the other cameras, there is nothing really "hot" price-wise, other than perhaps the Nikon P80 superzoom for $300.

Best Buy
Nine cameras are listed, but there is nothing dramatic. The best deal is probably the Kodak M893-IS with a bonus 2gb SD card for $100, followed by the Nikon P80 (superzoom) at $300. There are two DSLRs, but the prices are really yawn-some (D40 w/kit lens for $450, XSi 450D w/kit lens for $700).

Radio Shack
They are near every street corner (almost) so the chances are they won't be as wild and crazy as the big box retailers, so that may increase your chances of finding something without having to hire a football team to block everyone else out :-)

Radio Shack has an early-bird special for $100, the pink Casio EX-Z9 which is lower than typical Amazon prices. Of the rest of the camera, of interest perhaps the Samsung L200 at $100 and the Sony W120 for $130.

Dell Home
Only one camera listed by Dell so far, and the price not so hot, the SD1100-IS for $160. You can get it Amazon right now for the same price.

Costco
Just one camera here, the Olympus FE-370 (8mp, 5x zoom) for $120. Must use xD cards. Does not take SD/SDHC. More on Costco BFDs.

Office Max
The Office Max deals feature the Nikon P60 at $120 which is a good price for a non-entry-level AA-based digital camera, but do note that unlike the P50, the P60 does not start at 28mm wide. At the same price you can get the Olympus FE-340 with a bonus starter kit.

And if you are an xD user, they will offer a 2gb Oly card for $15. Bad price for SD/sDHC, but for xD, you have to get what you can find :-) Speaking of SD, they'll feature a 4gb Sandisk for $10. Compare and contrast the "xD vs SD" prices!

Target
SlickDeals.net has a list of all the Target specials, which include a 10mp M-series Kodak Easyshare camera (MX1063, or M1063?) for $89, which is not a bad price at all. Target rarely goes above $200 digital cameras, so this is as expected.

Apple's biggest Black Friday ever?
Rumors on various websites, including Apple Insider say that Apple may have its most aggressive Black Friday yet.

Ace Hardware
Nothing camera-wise, except for a $60 digital picture frame. More on Ace.

Staples (initial leak)
The initial leak at Staples, courtesy of gottadeal.com reveals one digital camera, the entry-level LiIon-based Olympus FE-20 for $100. If you already have xD cards, then it's not a bad deal for the price.

Rite Aid
GottaDeal has the Rite Aid deals. No major brand is available but there is a 5-megapixel Polaroid (with 3x zoom) for $50 and a 7" SmartParts digital picture frame for $60.

Drugs and Cameras (Walgreens)
We are talking of course about the drugstore chain Walgreens, which will be offering the 9mp 1/2.5" Kodak C913 for $80 as a doorbuster model, which is actually $35 less than the current Amazon price. More on Walgreens at blackfriday.info.

The Camera Side of Sears
Eighteen digital cameras are listed in the leaked Sears Black Friday ad, a number of which are listed as "doorbusters". When compared with Amazon.com the prices at Sears-BF are equal or higher in most cases. And that's without factoring in sales tax. One exception is the Casio EX-Z80 at $120, along with the doorbuster (and older) Samsung i85 at $130.

Only two dSLRs are listed, and the only price that is competitive with online retailers is the Nikon D40 kit for $450, but that's a doorbuster, so prepare to fight for it :)

As far as memory cards, a couple of SD brands will be available for $7 (2gb size).

Now if you have Sears gift cards to burn, that's a different story, since you can't use those at other retailers, so in that case, you may want to take a closer look at the listed cameras.

For all the details be sure to check BlackFriday.info.

Yes, K-Mart is still around
K-Mart is still around my friends, and their best deal is the Casio EX-Z9 for exactly one hundred dollars, about $15 less than the current Amazon prices. More on K-Mart.

More will be added
As more ads get published or leaked, we will discuss them and try to spotlight the ones that are competitive compared to reputable online dealers. As a reference point for prices, we will be using the internet price bellwether, Amazon.com.

More will be added as they become available. If you notice any new ones, please let us know (email)
