Review Train (Lots of Canons, Fuji F60fd, C-Lux3, Sony T77, CS4, etc)

Jump aboard the Review Train! Lots of reviews published left and right in the camera-review-o-sphere :)

Enthusiast-Camera Reviews
If you missed yesterday's post, there have been three Nikon P6000 reviews posted in the last two days, at Luminous (vs G10), Photo Review and Photography Blog.

We start the new review train with the Canon 50D, getting reviewed by DCI, aka Digital Camera Info. This is the reviewer who posted the controversial LX3 review (see Sept 18 entry), so you have been warned.

We continue with critically-acclaimed lens review site PhotoZone, publishing their findings in the Canon XSi 450D review. Rebel, rebel, what did P-Zone think of your ...rebolution? And while we are at PZ, they have retested the EF-S 17-85 f4-5.6 USM IS lens using the 50D. See how it performs at 15-megapixels.

Okay, enough with bad jokes, how about a review of Canon's latest "fun zoom", Steve's Digicams tests out the SX110 IS. This is the 3rd Canon fun-zoom, following up on the not-so-successful TX-1 experiment, and the much more successful SX100-IS.

Fuji has been driving enthusiasts crazy with the way they've been dancing around the possibility of making serious cameras built around their 1/1.6" SuperCCD sensors. Another camera in the list of frustrations is the F60fd. Not because the F60fd is a bad camera, far from it. But rather because Fuji could have made it a lot better, and without actually spending a lot of money to do it. PSAM for one is a simple thing to add! With this long and winding preface, we bring you the DCI review of the Fuji F60.

The most stylish template among review sites quite possibly belongs to Neo Camera, which has recently posted their review o the Nikon P80. Nikon has been at least going through the motions of attempting to try to give the impression of attempting to try to create enthusiast cameras. If you made it through the previous railroad sentence to nowhere, thanks for reading :)

Ultra-Compact Reviews
Leica-a-like gets a review, the Leica C-Lux 3 is given the Imatest stress testing at Photo Review Australia. This is of course a Leica version of a Panasonic FX-model, the FX-37.

Adorable Sony! If only they provided an alternative, a dual drive if you like for SD/SDHC in addition to Memory Sticks. Regardless, DC Resource has reviewed the Cybershot T77.

How about some love for poor old Kodak? It comes from across the pond, Trusted Reviews has reviewed the M893 IS model, a LiIon-based Easyshare model.

Software Reviews
TWiP Photo has posted their review of Photoshop CS4, Adobe's shiny new wave of software for the whole family :) TWIP breaks down their review in multiple segments, so be sure to check it out!
