Interview with Samsung on next dSLR at WDC
Continuing with the interview theme, the magazine "What Digital Camera" has an exclusive interview on their website talking about Samsung. The interview took place in Seoul, South Korea.
We won't spoil all the details of the interview, but here are some teasers of the topics discussed:
- full frame vs APS-C sensors
- Pentax involvement
- size and looks of the new model
- arrival time second half of 2009
And one correction to the "WDC" article, the new dSLR would be Samsung's fifth, not third. So far they had the GX1s, GX1L, GX10, and GX20.
The above is talking about dSLRs, not to be confused with their development notice for a new small-form-factor format that would compete with Micro Four Thirds. The new format, code-named "Hybrid" has an alleged picture leaked online, check it out at the Imaging Insider.
