Recap: The Sony Full Frame Big Bang is coming soon

The IDG news service mentioned the date of September 10 in their article that circulated among the IDG websites, which include popular PC and Mac magazine websites. September 10 Tokyo time, which could mean September 9 in some geographic regions. To sort out time differences, timeanddate.com is a handy resource.

We already mentioned the Alpha A900 magazine-ad specs leak and the Sony 70-400 f4-5.6 G SSM lens PDF file leak (link is a PDF file). But we missed one! The Carl Zeiss 16-35mm f2.8 lens as seen in this picture in the dpreview News forum. A longer discussion on the lens and A900 in the Sony forum.

As you can decode from the lens name, these are both 35mm full frame lenses, and considering the specs they would be of great interest to potential buyers of the Alpha A900. Because the 16-35mm would really be 16-35mm, so wide-angle fans can go out there and have some f2.8 fun at full-frame :-)

And if you can't wait, a Sony dealer in China is accepting pre-orders.

But wait there's more! Neutral Day has new updates, more Alpha A900 pictures as detected in the real world!

And some more, professional video and more from Sony. More at Photo Club Alpha.
