Pre-Order the Canon 5D Mark II

Yes 5D Mark II fans, you can jump ahead of the line by placing your 5D Mark II pre-order now, but finding a store is not an easy task. Still available for pre-order for the same prices at J&R World for both the body only ($2700) and the kit with the EF 24-105 L lens for $3500, along with Ritz Camera online and Calumet Photo. There are no delivery estimates.

Meanwhile, the following stores are out of stock of ...pre-orders. Yes, they are out of pre-orders believe it or not. We will have updates when the pre-orders return. No longer available at Adorama (body only), or with the 24-105 LISUSM lens.

And Amazon too has run out of pre-orders (!) as you can see here: 5D Mk II body only ($2700) and the 5D Mk2 + EF 24-105 L IS USM ($3500). How do you run out of pre-orders? Is the 5D Mk2 generating more interest than anticipated?
