Canon's Legal Eagles costing them thousands in lost sales

You may recall a few days ago when Canon Legal started harassing CanonRumors.com. Well, CanonRumors has posted the latest update in the on-going saga.

Setting the legal issues aside, this is a horrible move by a company. Because the audience of the site are some of the most loyal Canon users. These are the people that spend a lot of money on Canon gear, but more importantly, they are the ones that tell all their friends, relatives and co-workers how wonderful Canon gear is and how superior it is to the competition.

Trying to shutting down a site that serves this very core audience is the definition of zero business savvy.

We hope that some common-sense Canon people realize this and try to make amends with their own fans!

PS> And add a spotmeter to all their DSLRs as a token of appreciation of their userbase :)
