Canon 50D review by Roland Lim
Photographer and blogger Roland Lim brings some excitement to those anxiously awaiting for new news on the Canon 50D - a Canon 50D review. A great review as always. It includes a full-range ISO 100 to ISO 12800 comparison of the same scene, with the pictures available to download as full-size JPEGs.
As always, we won't be revealing the outcome of the review so as not to introduce any bias to the initial reading of the review.
But you don't have to wait long for reactions to the review, as Roland himself has tipped off the discussion at the dpreview Canon forum. Over 50 responses already, so there's plenty of time for you to chime in until it reaches the magic 150. And we couldn't agree more with the first two sentences.
In addition to Roland Lim, there is also a short text-only review at Tech Radar.

New news! 17th Street Photo upon Amazon has five units available - as of the time of writing. This is the 50D with the EF 28-105 lens going for the list price of $1600. We haven't seen any "body only" kits shipping yet. The 50D is currently in pre-order status at most of the reputable online dealers, although a few people who have placed early pre-orders have started receiving it.
